The Tsuyokute New Saga release date is in July 2023, the Summer 2023 anime season.
A teaser visual and a teaser trailer were released to announce the anime adaptation of the Tsuyokute New Saga manga. The main cast and staff details were also revealed.
The teaser PV depicts the anime’s magical world destroyed by demons, Kyle’s fierce battle to defeat the Demon King, and the beginning of Kyle’s second life.

Tsuyokute New Saga cast and staff
The main cast of Tsuyokute New Saga includes:
- Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Kyle
- Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Seran
- Fairouz Ai (Manjirou Sano in Tokyo Revengers) as Riize
- Asami Seto (Mai Sakurajima in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) as Urza
- Minami Takahashi (Shia Haulia in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest) as Sildonia
Norikazu Ishigooka is directing the anime at studios Sotsu, Makaria, and Yokohama Animation Lab. Kenta Ihara is in charge of the series scripts. Nilitsu is drafting the original animation character designs, and Atsushi Asahi is designing the characters. Shacho and Hironori Anazawa are composing the music.

More about Tsuyokute New Saga
Tsuyokute New Saga anime is based on the light novels of the same name written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryuta Fuse.
Alphapolis published the novels from 2013 to 2018 with a total of 10 volumes.
The series also received a manga adaptation by Jun Miura began in 2014. Alphapolis has released nine volumes of the manga to date, and the 10th tankobon volume will be released on October 24, 2022.
The story follows a magical swordsman, Kyle, the last hope of humanity who, along with his allies, needs to defeat the Demon King and save the human race. Kyle manages to defeat the Demon King but at the expense of his own body and his allies.
At the castle of the Demon King, Kyle notices a mysterious crystal and grabs it, which sends him to the past! Now armed with the memories and skills he gained in that time, he will become even stronger to prevent the tragedy.
