Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- Exhibits
More than 350 original drawings, color illustrations, and manuscripts will be exhibited during the event. The concept is devised to offer a multifaceted perspective to Togashi-sensei’s work, providing a comprehensive insight into the essence of the mangaka’s genius.
The exhibits will display parts of conversations from Mr. Togashi’s manga, presented at various angles, coupled with other drawings and illustrations, so as to create intricate puzzle pieces that visitors may enjoy deciphering, thus partaking in the original creative processes that gave birth to each of Mr. Togashi’s precious manga titles.
Togashi-sensei’s first acclaimed work is the one-shot Tonda Birthday Present (とんだバースディプレゼント), which was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump’s Winter Edition Special 35 long years ago (1987).
Whether some new art from the recently revamped Hunter x Hunter manga series will debut at the exhibition remains to be seen.
Togashi-sensei has kindly revealed some of the original drawings that the lucky visitors of the Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- will be able to see in person, so enjoy the samples below!
