Crunchyroll has announced that the Smile of the Arsnotoria English dub will release on the streaming platform on July 20, 2022.
The TV anime adaptation of Smile of the Arsnotoria was announced back in May 2022. It is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of its summer 2022 anime simulcast lineup.
Along with the premiere date, Crunchyroll also revealed the English dub cast and crew. The main English cast includes:
- Jad Saxton (Chika in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Ars
- Dani Chambers (Chise Hatori in The Ancient Magus’ Bride) as Mell
- Bryn Apprill (Yotsuba Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets) as Pica
- Brianna Roberts (Miranjo in Ranking of Kings) as Abra
- Sarah Wiedenheft (Phosphophyllite in Land of the Lustrous) as Voyniy
- David Matranga (Shouto Todoroki in My Hero Academia) as Zwingli
The English crew includes:
- ADR Director: Emily Fajardo (Bojji in Ranking of Kings)
- ADR Engineer: Zachary Davis
- ADR Script: Leah Clark (Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul)
Smile of the Arsnotoria special live talk event
A Smile of the Arsnotoria special live talk event will be held at the Smile Fest 2022, where the 5 main cast members will be present. The event will be held on August 7, 2022, at 17:00 (JST). The event is also scheduled to be broadcast live on YouTube at the same time. You can watch the event through this link.

Smile of the Arsnotoria anime is based on the mobile game created by Nitroplus. The game developed by NextNinja and published by Good Smile Company was released on iOS and Android in March 2021.
A manga adaptation by Masaki Hattori began serialization in Fujimi Shobo’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine on June 8, 2022.
A novel adaptation of the TV anime has also been announced. It will be published in the Famitsu Bunko imprint by Enterbrain.
