A special PV for Shinobi no Ittoki was released, revealing an additional cast of characters and ED theme song information.
The Shinobi no Ittoki anime release date is on October 4, 2022. The show will air on TOKYO MX and AT-X on October 4 and BS Asahi on October 7.
In February 2022, the project titled Shinobi no Ittoki was announced, with no information other than a 2022 release and the production studios. The first trailer PV for the anime was released in May 2022, revealing the main cast and staff. And in July 2022, a trailer PV revealed the OP theme song information.
The OP theme song is “Hikari” (Light) by the J-rock band, Humbreaders. And the newly revealed ED theme song is “Oboetate” by the musical band, hockrockb. The band’s first major album, “Pencil Rocket,” containing the ED theme song, will be released on October 26, 2022.
The special PV reveals and previews the ED theme song and reveals an additional cast of characters. The newly announced cast includes:
- Yuki Takada (Yuu Koito in Bloom Into You) as Shione Kozuki
- Tomoaki Maeno (Pain in Naruto: Shippuuden) as Hayato Goshogawara
- Masaya Matsukaze (Kyoya in Ouran High School Host Club) as Genji Karajishi
- Mugihito (Kaseki in Dr. Stone) as Juzen Jiraibo
- Nanako Mori (Miyako Kodama in Bloom Into You) as Kominami Mitsuhashi

Shinobi no Ittoki cast and staff
The main cast members are:
- Ryota Ohsaka, best known for playing Sadao in The Devil is a Part-Timer!, as Ittoki Sakuraba
- Katsuyuki Konishi, best known for playing Usui Tengen in Kimetsu no Yaiba, as Tokisada Koga
- Haruka Shiraishi, best known for playing Asirpa in Golden Kamuy, as Kosetsu
- Kikuko Inoue, who is currently playing Kuma in Onipan!, as Yuka Sakuraba
The anime is directed by Shuu Watanabe, best known for his work in RE:Creators, at studio TROYCA. Minato Takano is in charge of Series Composition. Isamu Suzuki is designing the characters and is also in charge of animation direction. TOMISIRO, the musical pair of Yosuke Kakegawa and Naoyuki Honzawa, is composing the music.
