Twitter is not One Piece fans’ best friend this week as a new tweet has confirmed that the One Piece manga’s ending is coming up on the horizon! The manga series is entering the One Piece final Saga after a 4-week hiatus that runs from June 27 through July 25, 2022.
Od even mentioned the One Piece Final Chapter in a new announcement. He created a poster that says, “To the final chapter,” on it. However, it’s important to note that Oda mentioning the One Piece Final Chapter doesn’t mean the manga is ending soon because we’re entering the final phase.
Eiichiro Oda is a master storyteller known for taking his time and giving all characters their time to shine. The Straw Hats have ten members, and each one has their own goals to achieve.
Luffy wants to be King of the Pirates, Zoro intends to be the world’s greatest swordsman, Nami wants to draw a map of the world, Sanji intends to find the All Blue, and Usopp wants to be a great warrior of the sea. Chopper plans to be a doctor who can cure anything; Robin intends to uncover the secrets of the past.
Franky wants to sail around the world on a ship made from Adam wood; Brook is looking for an old friend, Jinbe doesn’t seem to have a clear goal, but we’re glad to see him! And let’s not forget the side characters and enemies that the Straw Hats have unfinished business with.
What needs to happen for One Piece to have a proper ending?
Though some of the Straw Hats have achieved their goals, they stay with Luffy to help him achieve his dream. A dream that we all know from the first episode and will most likely happen before the series ends.
But what else do we need to know before we say goodbye? This article contains details from all parts of the series, so if you haven’t caught up to the time-skip yet, then expect spoilers.
The lost history of the Void Century and its connection to One Piece
The Void Century is one of the biggest secrets in the One Piece universe. The World Government will use any means to keep the Void Century hidden, but we know The Roger Pirates learned the truth.
And with Robin at their side, The Straw Hats are on their way to deciphering the Poneglyphs, finding the location of Laugh Tale, and getting the One Piece treasure.
The last Ancient Weapon-Uranus
Like the Void Century, the Ancient Weapons are a closely guarded secret by the World Government. The Weapons are said to cause an untold amount of destruction, but we know that one of the Weapons is alive!
There are three Ancient Weapons Pluton is a massive battleship. Its location is unknown, and Franky destroyed the blueprints. Shirahoshi is the current possessor of the Posiden.
The original Posiden was a mermaid princess with the power to control the Sea Kings. This ability has been passed down in Shirahoshi’s family for generations, but Shirahoshi is the only one to awaken this power.
The final Weapon is Uranus, and there’s no information on it. A popular theory among fans is since humans made Pluton, and Posiden belongs to the Royal Family led by Neptune, then Uranus must have a connection to the Sky people.
The Will of D
There are several characters with D as their middle initial. Why? What makes these people stand out? We know Luffy, Gol D. Roger, Garp, Dragon, and Ace have D in their names.
But what does it mean, and how will it affect the rest of the story?
Shanks
The man who started Luffy on his path is full of mysteries! We know he uses the Conqueror Haki, and he leads the Red Hair Pirates. But we haven’t seen everything he can do!
Blackbeard
Will we see a fight between Luffy and Blackbeard? We know that this Emperor and former Warlord has an inner circle that matches the Straw Hat Pirates in ten members.
And Blackbeard is the first person to have two devil-fruit powers, which means there’s a chance Luffy or someone else will have that ability.
What is the One Piece treasure?
One Piece is the greatest mystery in this series. It could be a location or a traditional treasure. But finding the One Piece is half the battle. Luffy and his friends will have to fight to keep it even after becoming the King of the Pirates.
