One Piece manga Chapter 1073, titled “Miss Buckingham Stussy,” is unofficially out. For those who want to wait for the official translation, the chapter will drop on Sunday as usual.
One Piece 1073 continues the “Germa 66’s Ahh…An Emotionless Excursion” cover story. It shows the MADS winning the Ibell Peace Prize for developing a flower that blooms in gunpowder, the GP Flower.
I wonder if we’ll ever see the use of this GP Flower in the main story. Imagine if Vegapunk were to use his invention to ruin Marine cannons in the final war!
The triple agent Stussy
Stussy was introduced into the story as one of the emperors of the Underworld — the Queen of the Pleasure District. Then it was revealed that Stussy is a double agent as she is a member of CP0. And then now, in Egghead island, it was revealed in One Piece Chapter 1072 that Stussy is actually a triple agent as she is a clone made by the MADS group unbeknownst to the World Government.
In this chapter, Stussy bites Lucci and puts him to sleep too. It is confirmed now that Stussy is the secret ally Vegapunk was talking about.
Vegapunk disappears
We get an ominous Narrator note that Dr. Vegapunk’s main body has disappeared. And even though Luffy is seen looking for both Vegapunk and Bonney, she is not mentioned in the note.
What could have happened? Last we saw them, Bonney was about to touch Kuma’s memory paw bubble, and Vegapunk was just behind her. How are the Strawhats supposed to leave this place after Luffy promised Sentamaru that he’d get Vegapunk off the island?
My guess is that due to whatever reasons, Vegaunk has disappeared; he is not actually on the island anymore. And Luffy will be able to sense that using Observation Haki and then decide to leave. Or maybe one of the satellite bodies can tell what happened.
Saint Jay Garcia Saturn
Finally, more than 2 decades after their introduction, Oda has revealed the name of one of the Five Elder Stars (Gorosei).
Kizaru is coming to Egghead with Saint Jay Garcia Saturn, one of the baddest names in One Piece. And the fact that the name of the Gorosei is “Saturn” when we know that the Ancient Weapons are Uranus, Poseidon, and Pluton, opens so many doors.
And the fact that a Gorosei is coming to Egghead, where the Seraphim are, means that he would have the higher authority to command them. We might even see Zoro clash with S-Hawk again.
The Weevil storyline is also fascinating. I mentioned in my theory before that I think Weevil is a failed clone that Miss Buckingham Stusst tried to make. Now that the Marines have captured him, what’s going to happen? Oda would not just end this plot point here. He obviously has something planned for Weevil. Whatever it is, I’m excited!
