Wednesday is for Geeked Week anime and animation!
I’m not going to lie. I love all of the live-action above! Especially, The Sandman, Locke & Key, Sweet Tooth, and Day Shift.
Stranger Things will always hold a special place in my heart. But the rest of my heart and all of my soul belongs to anime!
The Cuphead Show!
The Cuphead Show is a slapstick musical comedy series developed by Dave Wasson for Netflix. Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, who created the Cuphead game, are executive producers with CJ Kettler, and Cosmo Segurson is a co-executive producer.
The Cuphead Show! Follows the misadventures of impulsive Cuphead and cautious Mugman, and many characters from the game are here.
The first season came out on February 18, 2022, and the second season is coming out in the Summer of 2022.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
You won’t need to play the game to enjoy this anime, as it’s a spin-off. Edgerunners will have 10 episodes and is about a nameless street kid just trying to survive in a city.
Having nothing to lose, he decides to become a mercenary called a cyberpunk. Hiroyuki Imashi is the director, with Masahiko Otsuka as assistant director, and Hiromi Wakabayahi is the creative director.
If you like Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, and Promare then you will love Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. And if you haven’t seen them, you should because they’re unique, and they don’t fit in any one category!
The Sea Beast
The Sea Beast is set in a world where monsters rule the sea, and monster hunters are heroes! But unfortunately, Jacob Holland, the best hunter, finds himself saddled with a young girl who snuck onto his ship.
Her name is Maisie Brumble, and the two make history by sailing into uncharted waters! Chris Williams is directing, and the film is coming out in 2022.
The Dragon Prince Season 4

Each season has nine episodes, and Netflix has renewed it for four more seasons. The Dragon Prince Season 4 release date is in late 2022.
Wonderstorm is working on a video game that will expand the plot. The game will be a combat multiplayer but not an MMO.
Players will get to play as characters from the series, but that’s all we know. Could this be one of the games featured on Friday, June 10?
