Marin is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters, and she’s now available for pre-order! My Dress-Up Darling will make you smile, especially when Marin speaks the truth.

This figure and the series she’s based on will brighten your day. But remember, no one likes a stalker, and making fun of someone’s interests is not cool.

It was only a matter of time!

I’m not sure why Crunchyroll did this, but they’ve said that this 1/7 scale of Marin is officially licensed. Crunchyroll only sells licensed or authorized merchandise, so adding that detail in the description is an interesting statement.

But even if she wasn’t licensed, this figure captures Marin perfectly! Her sparkly eyes pop, the gradient in her hair is subtle, her clothes are full of wrinkles, and there’s movement in her hair and skirt!

And although you can’t see it in the picture, she’s holding her school bag with the Shion-tan goods attached. Her pre-order closes on October 16, 2022, and she’ll set you back $189.99.

She stands 8.4 inches tall and is made of PVC and ABS. Marin will ship in December 2023, so consider this an advanced Christmas present!

The Marin figure does a fantastic job recreating Marin’s nails and jewelry, so head to your favorite website and scroll through the pictures.

Who is Marin Kitagawa?

Marin and Gojo are like Yin and Yang, but Marin pushes the stereotypes away with a bang. Despite looking like a gyaru, the Japanese equivalent of a young woman not interested in marriage or work.

And often seen as childish and usually depicted with a Valley Girl accent. Marin is interested in work, and she’s passionate about cosplaying.

She’s honest, encourages Gojo to stand up for himself, and praises his sewing skills. Marin is the type of friend who’ll pop your bubble and drag you out of your comfort zone.

You can kick and scream all you want, but your bubble will never heal, and you’ll eventually adjust to the world. I foolishly ignored this anime based on the title when it first came out.

But after watching the first episode, I’m hooked. Marin and Gojo are perfect for each other, and I’ll scream it from the rooftops!

Although I don’t dare to attempt some of her cosplays, I can’t sew to save my life.
