An action-packed launch trailer of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R has just hit! Developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the upcoming fighting game will release worldwide on September 2, 2022. However, some regions will have access to the game a day earlier. So don’t be surprised if you see reviews and gameplay videos online by now.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
Based on Hirohiko Araki’s fan-favorite manga, this game is a sequel to the well-received JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle initially released in 2013 and also developed by CyberConnect2. And from what the trailer reveals, the sequel builds on the wild action and striking art style featured in the debut title.
But with excellent fighting games such as Melty Blood: Type Lumina and Dragon Ball FighterZ already available, All-Star Battle R faces stiff competition. Fortunately, its roster of 50 characters, various gameplay features, and its online mode may make it a winner.
