A new trailer PV was released after the broadcast of I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss Episode 5. The anime TV show is entering the second arc of the anime series.
I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss premiered on October 1, 2022, and it is currently airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, WOWOW, AT-X, and BS-TBS. Crunchyroll also released the English dub of the anime on October 15, 2022.
The trailer introduces the six additional cast members, including:
- Soma Saito (Kenshin Himura in Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (2023)) as James Charles
- Tasuku Hatanaka (Denki Kaminari in Boku no Hero Academia) as Auguste Zelm
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Yuri Katsuki in Yuri!!! on Ice) as Walt Lizanis
- Chiaki Kobayashi (Askeladd in Vinland Saga) as Kyle Elford
- Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets) as Selena Gilbert
- Rie Murakawa (Ram in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Rachel Danis

Special program on ABEMA
On October 27, 2022, from 21:00 to 22:00 (JST), a cast appearance special program will be broadcasted at ABEMA. Riyo Takahashi (Aileen), Soma Saito (James), and Tasuku Hatanaka (Auguste) will appear and look back at the first act of the anime from episodes 1 to 4.

I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, also known in Japan as Akuyaku Reijo Nanode Rasubosu o Katte Mimashita, anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by Mai Murasaki.
The light novels were first serialized on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro. The series was later acquired by Kadokawa Shoten, who have published the novels under their Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint since September 2017. A total of 9 volumes have been released to date.
It also received a manga adaptation by Anko Yuzu which was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine. The chapters have been collected in three tankobon volumes.
