On November 11, 2022, the official Chainsaw Man anime website announced a collaboration with Ground Y! The clothes are meant to be genderless and ageless, while the jewelry will make fans squeal.
And most importantly, you’ll be able to look like you’re about to kill Devils without making a contract!
What’s in this collaboration?
There has been no shortage of Chainsaw Man cosplayers, but not everyone can make their own or settle for the casual look the characters sport when they aren’t on duty. But now we don’t have to worry about that.
However, we will have to worry about our wallets, as the cheapest T-Shirt costs around $93. Nevertheless, the Chainsaw Man collection isn’t as pricey as some of Yohji Yamato’s other brands.
And there is a Black Friday sale going until November 27, 2022. But fans will have to wait until December 16 before they can buy the new merch online.
Unless you’re one of the lucky fans who live in Japan, on November 30-December 6, a pop-up store will be selling some items on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Unfortunately, we don’t have a list of items, but anyone who buys 33,000 yen worth, or $237.21, will receive a free Chainsaw Man pin.
It’s about 8 cm and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. More items will be added to the collection but what’s been confirmed are Military Coats, Jacket, Blouson, Skirt Pants, Shirt, Long Shirt, T-shirt, Big T-shirt, Necklace, two different styles or ear cuffs, and earrings.
You can also receive the limited edition Chainsaw Man pin at GINZA SIX, Laforet Harajuku, Shibuya Parco, Shinsaibashi Parco, and the official YOHJI YAMAMOTO website.
What else do we know about Ground Y x CHAINSAW MAN?
The singer of the ending theme song of episode 7, ano, is one of the models for the collaboration. In addition, Ryunosuke Miyamoto, not pictured above, is an active model and actor.
If you want to be the first to learn of anything to do with this collaboration, follow Ground Y’s socials, and be on the lookout for their Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Neon Genesis Evangelion collaborations. Both of which have been available since earlier this year.
ano’s singing, combined with the visuals of the ending theme song, Chu Diversity, relaxes and excites you. Denji deserves to have a night of fun with his coworkers.
It’s a bit soon to call them friends, but knowing Denji, he’s not going to care unless you’re a woman offering to let him do naughty things to you.
