The Golden Kamuy Season 4 release date is just around the corner. Save the date: October 3, 2022!
The production committee behind the series has been busy with treats as the date approaches.
On September 16, 2022, the highly-acclaimed anime series got a new key visual for the upcoming Golden Kamuy Season 4 (fourth, so far) featuring all old and new characters.

In addition, it was announced that a special Golden Kamuy live program will be held during the NBC Universal Anime×Music 30th anniversary 24-hour TV program that will air on Abema on September 24 and 25. Specifically, Golden Kamuy will be featured at 18:30 JPT on September 25.
Five main cast members will be joining the program.
Golden Kamuy Season 4: What we know so far
A second trailer PV and OP/ED theme song information were revealed earlier in September, as follows:
The OP theme song is “NEVER SAY GOODBYE” by ALI feat. Mummy-D, while the ED song is “Subete ga Soko ni Arimasu Yo ni” (lit., “I Pray That Everything Will be There”) by THE SPELLBOUND.
As for the cast, it has been confirmed that Haruka Shiraishi and Chikahiro Kobayashi will be reprising their roles as Asirpa and Saichi Sugimoto.
New cast members include Tomokazu Seki as Bōtarō the Pirate, Masaaki Mizunaka as Private Ariko, and Kenyu Horiuchi as Warrant Officer Kikuta.
Animation Studio Brain’s Base is taking over from Geno Studio for Golden Kamuy Season 4.

About the Golden Kamuy manga series
For the entirety of its run (2014-2022), the Golden Kamuy manga by Satoru Noda was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine.
Golden Kamuy won the 9th Manga Taishō award (2016), the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize (2018), and the Grand Prize in the comic book category of the 51st Japan Cartoonists Association Awards (2022).
VIZ Media is publishing the official English translation of the series. The English manga was up to Volume 26 as of May 2022, with Volume 27 due to be released on September 20, 2022.
The plot follows the adventures of Saichi Sugimoto (a.k.a. “Immortal Sugimoto”), a demobilized veteran of the Russo-Japanese War and Asirpa, a young Ainu hunter who saves Sugimoto from a wild bear. The two form a partnership and set out to find the legendary Ainu gold.
The clash between the Ainu and Japanese cultures is a pivotal part of the series.
The story is set in Hokkaido, in the aftermath of the Russo-Japanese War and depicts many real-life events of the epoch. In addition to fictional characters, Golden Kamuy also features a number of fictionalized characters of real historical figures, e.g., Shinsengumi’s Hijikata Toshizō and Shinpachi Nagakura.
