If you’ve been waiting to know when Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack was coming out, we finally have some insight! While the exact date hasn’t been released yet, fans can expect to see the romantic comedy series return with its second season in January 2023.

The new key visual, date, and cast announcements were all made announced on Twitter, as well as on the official website for the series. Several of the new characters can even be seen in the poster.

The first season of the series aired back in April of 2021. Like the previous one, the second season of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro will be available to stream on Crunchyroll in the United States, as well as in Japan.

However, instead of Telecom Animation Film producing the series, production will now be handled by Studio OLM. Their track record includes series like Pokemon, Komi Can’t Communicate, and Love All Play.

What new voice actors will be joining Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack?

Along with several other exciting pieces of new information, multiple new characters and voice actors have been announced as well.

It seems this season, joining in on the fun will be Nagatoro’s big sister, who lovingly only seems to go by Ane Toro, or “Big Sis-Toro”. She will be voiced by Yoshino Nanjo, who has voiced characters in shows like Berserk and Fruit of Evolution.

Actress Sayumi Suzushiro will play Hana Sunomiya, a beautiful art student who looks almost identical to her cousin, Sana (the former president of the art club), with the same penchant for public nudity. She’s formally voiced characters in 86 and Kagayu-Sama: Love is War.

Finally, rounding out the cast additions is Kaori Maeda as Orihara, a friendly classmate of Nagatoro’s, as well as her judo rival. In the past, Maeda has voiced characters in shows like Platinum End and Dr. STONE.

It definitely sounds like some interesting new characters are being added to the chaos! There’s no word yet on who will play the new characters in the season two dub, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted!

What is the Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro series about?

If you’ve never watched or heard of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, you’re probably wondering what the anime is even about.

The story follows an unnamed protagonist known only as Senpai. Senpai is a lot of things, but being confident isn’t exactly one of them. He seems content to just fly under the radar, working on his art and never really making himself noticed – but that doesn’t stop a rambunctious underclassman named Nagatoro from noticing him anyway. While she’s adorable on the outside, on the inside, she’s everything Senpai is not. She’s loud, outgoing, athletic, popular, and just a little bit sadistic, especially when it comes to him.

Suddenly Senpai’s life goes from mundane to unpredictable as Nagartoro makes it point to seek him out and mess with him every day. However, what starts off as just teenage bullying soon begins to mold into a strange, almost friendship as the two begin to get to know one another. It doesn’t mean Nagatoro is going to stop tormenting Senpai anytime soon, but while she may make fun of him, no one else is allowed to mess with Senpai on her watch.

If you’re a fan of romantic comedies or shows like Teasing Master Takagi-San, then I definitely recommend catching up on this before the new season drops in January 2023!
