The first trailer PV for Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill was released, revealing an additional cast member of the series.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill anime release date is scheduled for January 2023, the Winter 2023 anime season.
The anime was first announced last month in October 2022, and along with the announcement, a teaser visual, and the main cast, and staff details were also revealed.
The trailer PV introduces the main cast of characters and gives a glimpse into the premise of the anime. It also announced that Maya Uchida (Melty in The Rising of the Shield Hero) enters the cast as Ninrir, the Goddess of the Wind.

- Yuma Uchida (Kyou Souma in Fruits Basket) as Tsuyoshi Mukouda
- Satoshi Hino (Ainz Ooal Gown in Overlord) as Fel
- Hina Kino (Hanako Honda in Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun) as Sui
Kiyoshi Matsuda is directing the anime at studio MAPPA. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is the first Isekai anime from MAPPA!
Michiko Yokote is in charge of the series scripts. Nao Otsu is adapting Masa’s original character designs for animation. Masato Koda, Kana Utatade, and Kuricorder Quartet are composing the music.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, also known in Japan as Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi, is an upcoming anime based on the light novel series of the same name written by Ren Eguchi.
The novel series was first published on the novel posting website Shosetsuka ni Naro, but it was later acquired by Overlap. Overlap publishes the series with illustrations by Masa under their Overlap Novels imprint. A total of twelve volumes have been released to date.
J-Novel Club has licensed the light novel for English publication in North America. Eleven volumes have been released to date.
The series also received a manga adaptation with illustrations by Akagishi K. The manga is serialized on the Comic Gardo manga website. The series’ individual chapters have been compiled into eight tankobon volumes to date.
