Haru and Legoshi look fantastic, and the base has little details like butterflies and movement. Unique designs for figures tend to be pricey, but this one isn’t that bad for a casual collection.
What do we know about this Beastars figure?
This figure captures the animation style at approximately 9.1 inches and is made from PVC and ABS. The pre-order closes on September 8, 2022, and ships in April 2023.
Unfortunately, the price may give some people pause, but at $193.99, the level of detail is worth it! I encourage you to head over to Crunchyroll and scroll through the pictures.
There’s so much more to see! As always the case with figures, we encourage you to look around for the best deal.
What is Beastars?
Beastars is a manga series by Paru Itagaki. There are 22 volumes in all, and it received an anime adaptation with two seasons on Netflix.
Beastars Season 3 has been announced and it will also be the final season. The figure is based on Season 1, OP, Wild Side.
The best part is it’s in stop motion! It’s also called frame animation and is done by moving physical objects around per frame.
When you play the sequence back, it creates the illusion of movement. Beastars has received a lot of praise for its mix of 3D and 2D animation style.
The plot focuses mainly on Cherryton Acadamy during the first two seasons. In a world similar to ours, there is a cultural divide between Carnivores and Herbivores.
Omnivores exist, but they don’t have much of an impact on the story. Legoshi is a gray wolf who works backstage in the drama club and is shy.
One day, Tem, the alpaca, is killed and eaten on the school grounds. Naturally, tensions are raised, but when Haru, a dwarf rabbit, comes into Legoshi’s life, he finds himself in a different kind of problem.
No spoilers, but Beastars Season 2 ended on a drastic note that, hopefully, the third season will be able to tie up loose ends. It took us two seasons to find out who killed Tem, and why will season 3 answer fans’ most burning questions?
