The Alice Gear Aegis Expansion anime release date is scheduled for 2023, according to the anime’s official Twitter.

Alice Gear Aegis Expansion: what we know so far
The Alice Gear Aegis Expansion anime series is being produced by Nomad, directed by Hirokazu Hanai (Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro), written by Kenji Sugihara (A Certain Scientific Accelerator), with Kanetake Ebikawa, Takayuki Yanase, Rikiya Okano, and Fumikane Shimada handling character design. As the original creator, Pyramid acts as a series supervisor.

Alice Gear Aegis Expansion is the second anime adaptation of the Alice Gear Aegis mobile game.
Announced in October 2020, the first OVA adaptation titled Alice Gear Aegis: Doki! Actress Darake no Mermaid Grand Prix premiered on September 15, 2021. It was also produced by Nomad and directed by Hanai, written by Masahiro Okubo, with Zuntata composing the soundtrack.
About the Alice Gear Aegis mobile game
The Alice Gear Aegis (アリス ギア アイギス) mobile game was developed by Pyramid and published by Colopl. The game was originally launched in January 2018 for Android and iOS devices, with a PC port being released a year later (in June 2019). Zuntata composed the music and was later also in charge of the OVA soundtrack.
Character design was handled by Fumikane Shimada and mech design — by Kanetake Ebikawa and Takayuki Yanase.
The game is set in a future Tokyo, with the PC taking the role of a commander leading the Tokyo Shard army alongside the Alice Gear girls. The commander’s role is to save people wandering the universe.
Another Alice Gear game is upcoming. Titled Alice Gear Aegis CS: Concerto of Simulatrix, the 3D battle action game is scheduled to be released in Japan on September 8, 2022. Once again, Zuntata is composing the soundtrack. The game is being developed by MAGES and will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
With online multiplayer, the game will allow up to six players to play together at once. Available modes will include a Tag Match (one player using three characters each) and a Battle Royale (six players using one character each).
Just a couple of days ago, MAGES released a trailer for Alice Gear Aegis CS: Concerto of Simulatrix, showcasing character customization for Yayoi Fujino, Yumi Yotsuya, and Toka Shimoochiai. Take a look:
