One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
Crunchyroll began streaming Dr. Stone in July along with Funimation which is streaming a simuldub of the anime.
Shinya Iino directed the series at TMS Entertainment along with Yuichiro Kido on the scripts and Yuko Iwasa as the character designer. Burnout Syndromes performs the opening theme, “Good Morning World!” with Rude-α did the ending theme song, “LIFE.”
The English dub of Dr. Stone features Aaron Dismuke lending his vocal talents as the brilliant young Senku Ishigami. Ricco Fajardo takes on the role of the outgoing and very enthusiastic Taiju Oki, and Brittany Lauda voices the kind Yuzuriha.
