One Piece Episode 1047, titled “Rise to Dawn! The Peach Colored Dragon Rages!,” aired on January 15, 2022.
We moved between so many different fights in this episode, but nothing really happened. NANI MO WAKATTA!
We move from Sanji vs Queen to Zoro vs King to Franky vs Sasaki to Kid and Law vs Big Mom to Yamato vs Kaido to Inuarashi vs Jack to Nekomamushi vs Perospero to Raizo vs Fukurokuju. Even so, the plot did not move, and it is still where it was at the end of the last episode.
Usopp’s conqueror’s haki
One interesting thing that happens in this episode is that Big Mom uses a conqueror’s haki burst in her fight with Kid and Law. And this burst knocks out Usopp’s opponents who were on the same floor.
The Beast Pirates thought Usopp used conqueror’s haki to knock them out. And Usopp, of course, went along with the lie and said, “You can’t remain awake in front of me if you’re not fully ready.”
Do you guys think Oda was trying to hint here that Usopp might get conqueror’s haki in the future? If you don’t know, there are a lot of instances in the series where Usopp’s lies come true. Maybe I’ll write an article on this later, but it is a pretty prominent theory in the One Piece community.
I’m really excited at the prospect of Usopp unlocking conqueror’s haki after becoming a brave warrior of the sea.
Dragon Momo
At the end of the episode, we finally see the adult dragon form of Momonosuke. But I gotta say the scene wasn’t as epic as I thought it would be.
The panel of this reveal in this manga is so stunning that it made my expectations from the anime pretty high.

The colored panel looks so much better than the anime that it’s not even comparable. While the animation quality of One Piece has definitely been better in the Wano arc, Toei missed the mark here. You can also check out this epic Luffy and Momonosuke illustration.
Shinobu turned Momonosuke into a 28-year-old using her Ripe Ripe Fruit. And the way she was clinging to him and crying, saying, “Momonosuke-sama! you look just like,” tells me that Momonosuke looks very similar to Oden.
It was also revealed recently that Hiro Shimono is playing adult Momonosuke in the anime.
