Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans will enjoy the 4th DLC on January 13, 2023. But the 5th DLC may have already been leaked!
DBSHype on Twitter states the 5th DLC will be the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Arc from the original Dragon Ball! DBSHype claims an inside source, and another Twitter user, @eL_Maverik_, is claiming the same thing.
Regarding Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, DBSHype has been accurate in its leaks. But nothing has been confirmed from official sources, and it probably won’t be until after the 4th DLC drops.
Remember when Piccolo thought he was a demon?
Dragon Ball Z did a great job introducing characters to new and old fans. And Piccolo’s meeting with Raditz was perfect.
Even if you haven’t seen or read Dragon Ball, you can tell that Piccolo isn’t someone to mess around with. The only reason he teamed up with Goku to take down Raditz was for his survival.
He wanted to fight Goku again but wouldn’t mourn his loss until Raditz revealed that two more Saiyans were coming to Earth and stronger than him. But for those who watched and read Dragon Ball, this was a satisfying continuation.
And when it comes to video games, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT don’t get enough love. This is a shame because Goku as a wild monkey boy was hilarious!
The 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai arc, also known as the Piccolo Jr. arc, was the first time we met adult Goku. We see him propose to Chi Chi, human characters still matter, and our favorite Namekian thought he was a demon.
And this was one of the rare times that Kami was useful!
Why did they start at the end of Dragon Ball?
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a single-player fighting RPG. So it makes sense that they would want to give fans DLC with lots of action and character development.
The 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai was Goku’s first time winning the tournament, with many exciting matches. A tournament is a safe way to tell a story without dwelling on every detail.
Piccolo Jr wanted to kill Goku because Goku killed his father in the previous arc. But Goku can’t kill Piccolo because Kami will die, and the Dragon Balls will be useless.
Goku learns how to fly, but he can still use the Flying Nimbus. And there is a chance fans will see the Ox King’s palace if this leak turns out to be true.
Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super have gotten much attention, and it’s justifiable. But Dragon Ball was where it started, and I can’t wait to see if it does become a part of the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game!
