The Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu light novel series is inspiring a TV anime adaptation. The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior release date is scheduled for July 2023, the Summer 2023 anime season.
Along with this announcement, a teaser visual and trailer, the main cast, and staff details were also revealed.
The teaser PV introduces the show’s main cast and depicts Pride aiming to become the best queen to avoid tragedy and make everyone happy, realizing that the game story can be changed in this world.

The main cast of the anime includes:
- Ai Fairouz (Power in Chainsaw Man) as Pride, the crown princess of the kingdom
- Maaya Uchida (Rikka Takanashi in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!) as Steyr, Pride’s stepbrother
- Haruka Tomatsu (Gintoki Sataka in Gintama°) as Tiara, the kingdom’s second princess
Norio Nitta is directing the anime at studio OLM Team Yoshioka. Deko Akao is in charge of the series composition. Hitomi Kono is designing the characters. Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Junko Nakajima are composing the music. They have all worked together on My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is also known in Japan as Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu.
It is an upcoming anime based on the light novel series of the same name written by Tenichi.
The novels were first serialized on the novel posting website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2018, but Ichijinsha later acquired the series. They have published the series in print with illustrations by Suzunosuke, and to date, five volumes have been released. Volume 6 of the series is set to release on November 2, 2022.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series for English publication in North America. They have released three volumes to date.
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Matsuura. It has been serialized on Ichijinsha’s Zero-Sum Online website. The manga chapters have been compiled into three tankobon volumes.
Seven Seas Entertainment also licensed the manga adaptation for English publication.
