A Lonely Castle in the Mirror movie trailer PV was released ahead of the film’s release date in Japan on December 23, 2022.
The movie was first announced in February 2022, and a teaser trailer revealing the December release date and the main cast and staff was released in July 2022.
This is the first Lonely Castle in the Mirror full trailer, and it reveals and previews the movie’s theme song — “Merry-Go-Round” by Yuri.
The trailer also revealed four additional cast members, including:

Lonely Castle in the Mirror or Kagami no Kojou is an upcoming anime film based on the novel written by Mizuki Tsujimura.
Poplar Publishing first published the novel in May 2017. The company later re-released the novel in a two-volume paperback format in March 2021.
In 2017, the novel topped Kadokawa’s Da Vinci magazine “Book of the Year” list. It also won the 2017 King’s Brunch Book Prize and the Japan Booksellers’ Award in 2018.
Kagami no Kojou also inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Tomo Taketomi. The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine from June 2019 to February 2022. The chapters of the manga have been compiled into five tankobon volumes.
