About the More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers manga
More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers (夫婦以上、恋人未満。, Fūfu Ijō, Koibito Miman.) is based on the eponymous manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Kanamaru.
The manga has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace since March 2018. The individual chapters have been collected into eight tankōbon volumes to date.
The plot follows third-year high school student Jirō Yakuin who has a crush on his childhood friend Shiori Sakurazaka. The school they’re attending has implemented couples training and Jirō is hoping to pair with Shiori.
Unfortunately, he gets paired with Akari Watanabe, who is his polar opposite.
Sounds clichéd, but who knows? We’ll have to wait for the TV anime to premiere to discover whether it’s worth the hype.
