With the Dragonball x Fortnight collaboration underway, Dragonball Super: Super Hero in theaters, and Dragonball: The Breakers building hype and bringing in new fans. So what could make things better?
Well, if you’re a gamer and live, breathe, sleep, and eat battle royales, you’re in luck! Because the PUBG Mobile x Dragonball Super collab is coming!
@dragonballsuper on Twitter has confirmed it will happen in 2023. But that’s all we know for now. We’ll keep you covered as more details come out!
Theory time!
Even though the collaboration is called Dragonball Super, PUBG MOBILE on Twitter also used the image above in their announcement. So does this mean that fans might be able to play as Beast Gohan or an Orange Piccolo?
If so, will we also get to play as one of the Gammas’ or Cell Max? In the Fortnite x Dragonball crossover, players get to play as Bulma.
If PUBG Mobile follows this trend to give us one female character, could we get 18 or Pan? Also, is there a chance we’ll see an official music video like the Alan Walker collab?
And let’s not forget about potential weapon skins, vehicles, and item drops!
Why PUBG and Fortnite?
PUBG proudly declares it’s the first and best battle royal and has many collaborations. But why combine a series focusing on martial arts and energy beams with guns and frying pans?
From an artistic standpoint, Fortnite is a good choice since hilarity is one of the game’s core components. But any game that lets you use a frying pan is too good to pass up!
But the art style and age rating in PUBG differ from Fortnite, even though many of the mechanics are the same in both games. For example, both involve your character being flown over an abandoned island.
You must gather weapons and supplies while avoiding other players and sticking to a safe zone steadily shrinking in a time limit. However, you can form teams depending on the game mode in PUBG Mobile.
