A new trailer PV has revealed that the Shinobi no Ittoki release date will be on October 4, 2022. The show will air on TOKYO MX and AT-X on October 4 and BS Asahi on October 7.
In February 2022, the project titled Shinobi no Ittoki was announced, with no information other than a 2022 release and the production studios. The first trailer PV for the anime was released in May 2022, revealing the main cast and staff.
This trailer PV reveals and previews the anime’s OP theme song “Hikari” (Light) by J-rock band, Humbreaders. The trailer also reveals an additional cast of characters. The additional cast includes:
- Taito Ban (Shizusumi Yagi in Given) as Suzaku Ban
- Taku Yashiro (Gugu in To Your Eternity) as Himura Takane
- Kan Tanaka as (Iwana Akame in Naruto) Mitsuzo Moriyama
- Naomi Shindoh (Balsa Yonsa in Moribito – Guardian of the Spirit) as Ayaha Tsuge
- Masaki Terasoma (Hidan in Naruto: Shippuuden) as Hoo Ban
- Yasuhiro Mamiya (Spectra Phantom in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia) as Enbi Takane
- Kenjiro Tsuda (Kento Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Kido Minobe

More about Shinobi no Ittoki
Shinobi no Ittoki is an upcoming original TV anime series created by DMM Pictures and TROYCA. The story of the anime goes as follows:
Ittoki Sakuraba is an ordinary boy trying to live his everyday life until one day he finds out that he is the 19th legitimate successor of the Iga ninja clan! His life is in danger because of a rival ninja clan. Now he has to fight and train to become a real ninja.
The anime is directed by Shuu Watanabe, best known for his work in RE:Creators, at studio TROYCA. Minato Takano is in charge of Series Composition. Isamu Suzuki is designing the characters and is also in charge of animation direction. TOMISIRO, the musical pair of Yosuke Kakegawa and Naoyuki Honzawa, is composing the music.
