A teaser PV for 4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku anime was released, revealing the October 2022 premiere date. The anime will air on ABC TV/TV Asahi affiliated 24 stations in Japan on the “ANiMAZiNG!!!” programming block.
The anime was first announced in April 2022 and now a teaser PV has been released along with a key visual and information on the main cast and staff.

- Chiemi Tanaka (Rina in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as Rikka
- Natsumi Murakami (Ai Miyashita in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as Chiyo
- Ayane Sakura (“Uravity” Ochako Uraraka in Boku no Hero Academia) as Sekine
- Megumi Han (Gon in Hunter x Hunter) as Tsubasa
Makoto Hoshino (best known for directing Uta no☆Prince-Sama♪ Maji Love Revolutions) is directing the anime at Studio Flad, with production assistance from Studio Pierrot. Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) is in charge of the series scripts. Ruriko Watanabe is designing the charaters. Tomoki Kikuya is composing the music.

4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku (Four People Lie in Their Own Way) anime is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Madoka Kashihara.
The manga has been under serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since April 2020. So far, two tankobon volumes have been released by Kodansha. The most recent volume was released on April 7, 2022.
4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku is a school comedy that depicts a group of four good friends who attend the same girls’ school. They look like ordinary students but in fact, they all have a secret that they can tell no one.
Rikka is the captain of the Galactic Revolutionary Army fighting the Space Empire, Chiyo is a runaway ninja, Sekine has hidden psychic powers and can read minds, and Tsubasa is masquerading as a cross-dressing boy, who switched identities with his twin sister!
