A new Renmei Kuugun Koukuu Mahou Ongakutai Luminous Witches (Allied Air Force Magical Idols Luminous Witches), or Luminous Witches, trailer PV was released. This is the 4th promotional video released by the series.
The new PV introduces us to the characters and previews the OP theme song of the anime, “WONDERFUL WORLD,” by its nine-member voice actress unit, Luminous Witches. The ED theme song, “Watashi to Minna no Uta” (A song for me and everyone), is also performed by Luminous Witches. The CD singles of the opening and ending theme songs will be available on August 24, 2022.
Luminous Witches anime is set to premiere on July 3, 2022. The show will air on AT-X, TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV on July 3, TV Aichi on July 4, and BS Nippon Television on July 5. The anime was Initially scheduled to premiere in 2021 but was later delayed to 2022 due to “various circumstances.”

Fumikane Shimada and Project World Witches are credited for original work. Shouji Saeki, best known for directing Medaka Box, is directing the anime with Kana Shundo, best known for his role as the Assitant Director in The Saga of Tanya the Evil anime, at SHAFT. He is also in charge of the series scripts. Humikane Shimada is designing the characters based on the original designs by Fumikane Shimada.

Luminous Witches is an original TV anime series that is a spinoff of the Strike Witches franchise. While the girls in Strike Witches are known for using the power of magic to fight off monsters. Luminous Witches is about a unique squadron of witches who don’t fight but use the healing power of songs and music.
They bring a moment of peace and healing to those who travel around the world and fight against Neuri and those who have been displaced from their hometowns.
