A Shine Post trailer PV for the anime TV series was released, revealing that the Shine Post release date is on July 12, 2022, the Summer 2022 anime season. The show will air on Nippon TV on July 12, 2022, and BS NTV and AT-X on July 14, 2022.
The anime was first announced back in October 2021, and the first trailer PV was released in April 2022.
Along with the new trailer PV, a new cast member for the anime was also revealed. Atsumi Tanezaki, best known for playing Anya in Spy x Family, is voicing Eiko Kikuchi, the manager of the YuraYura Sisters idol unit. The new trailer depicts the crisis that befalls TINGS and the girls’ struggle to overcome it.

Kei Oikawa, best known for directing Hinamatsuri, is directing the anime at Studio KAI. SPP is in charge of the series composition, with Tatsuto Higuchi and Rakuda writing the scripts. Yoshihiro Nagata is designing the characters based on Buriki’s original character designs. Yohei Kisara of Stray Cats is producing the music.
The Shine Post project
The Shine Post anime is part of the Shine Post mixed-media project created by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge. The anime follows the journey of TINGS, an idol group that aspires to become big in the industry.
In October 2021, a light novel series written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki, titled Shine Post: Nee Shitteta? Watashi o Zettai Idol ni Suru Tame no, Goku Futsu de Atarimae na, to Bikkiri no Mahou, was published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint.
In January 2022, a manga adaptation with art by Makiko Kawasemi began serialization in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine.
