Crunchyroll has announced the bulk of its Summer 2022 anime lineup! Of course, some new faces and old friends are coming in July 2022, but the best part is that more is coming!
So make sure you check out Crunchyroll news regularly, so you don’t miss anything. The Summer 2022 lineup joins Crunchyroll’s library of over 40,000 episodes and 16,000 hours of streaming availability.
Meaning there’s literary something for everyone to enjoy! Funimation will continue to add new episodes of currently released series like One Piece, The Devil is a Part-Timer!, Classroom of the Elite, Kingdom, SHADOWS HOUSE, The Prince of Tennis 2, and Obey Me!
But all new series will simulcast exclusively on Crunchyroll. The list below only has the start dates of the Japanese episodes.

July 1
- Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2 is about the continuing adventures of Kinoshita Kazuya. A friendly college student was dumped by his girlfriend after dating for one month. Fortunately for him, Kazuya finds a way to rent a girlfriend, and she lives next door to him?! Will Kazuya and Chizuru get a happy ending, or will Mami find a way to end their relationship? Dub languages are English, Latin American Spanish, Brazillian Portuguese, French, and German.
- Lycoris Recoil. Peaceful days are guaranteed thanks to an all-girl secret crime-fighting organization: Lycoris. The elite free-spirit Chisato is their strongest agent, along with the coolheaded and mysterious Takina. This duo works at a cafe serving coffee and sweets while providing childcare, shopping, and teaching Japanese. - Teppen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing ’til you Cry is about a diehard fan of comedy and comedians who joins an elite school that trains the next generation of entertainers! Only available in Japanese.

- Engage Kiss. Bayron City is a Mega-Float city located above the Pacific Ocean and belongs to no nation. But, as they mine for Orgonium, a new energy resource, the city is constantly under attack by demons “D Hazards.” Unfortunately, only a handful know about the D Hazards, and some have set up PMCs or Private Military Companies to combat them. Shu is one of these people, but his company is small. He cherry-picks his jobs, and he always needs money. His lifestyle is being supported by a high-school girl Kisara who is also a demon. English is the only dub language.
- Shoot! Goal to the Future. Atsushi Kamiya is a former captain of the Kakegawa High School and world-renowned “courageous captain” of a famous Italian soccer team. Hideto Tsuji is a student at Kakegawa High School who wants to avoid the now-weakened soccer team. Their meeting is the start of a new legend. English is the only dub language.
July 3
- YUREI DECO is an original story based on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Berry is an average girl from an average home when she meets Huck, a girl who looks like a boy. Berry is charmed by Huck and soon joins her team of The Ghost Detectives Club. The club members are “socially dead” and work invisibly within the digitally controlled society of Tom Sawyer. While working with the group, Berry learns about Zero, a mysterious figure lurking in Tom Sawyer’s underground. She and Huck decide to chase Zero, and the truth about the city is unveiled in time. Only available in Japanese.
- RWBY: Ice Queendom is RWBY’s first official anime adaptation. Ice Queendom follows an original story in episode 3, meaning you don’t have to watch RWBY to understand events in Ice Queendom. English is the only dub language.
- Utawarerumono Mask of Truth. “I’m counting on you, boy.” Yamato descends into chaos following the death of the emperor. The General of the Right, Oshutoru, has been accused of poisoning Empress Anju. In a battle with his pursuers, Oshutoru uses the Akuruka’s full power and fuses his body and soul with the world. Osutoru entrusts Anju and Nekone to his friend Haku in his final moments. Haku takes Oshutoru’s mask and identity, abandoning his old life. He tells everyone except Nekone, who knows the truth that he is Osutoru. They escape to Ennakaumi, where Anju begins to recover and devises a plan to take back her throne. But Raikou, an Eight Pillar General, takes advantage of the chaos and puts a fake empress on the throne. Yamato’s armies march on Ennakaumi to kill Anju, and a war unlike any other engulfs Yamato. - Classroom of the Elite 2. Tokyo Metropilain Nurturing High School looks like paradise until you discover its extreme meritocracy. Kiyotaka is working with Suzune, who aims to ascend higher. After surviving on an uninhabited island, they enjoy a luxury cruise liner, But A new class-scrambling test is about to start! Do you work with your class, group, or just yourself? July 5
- Dropkick on my Devil!!! X Season 3. “Jashin-chan” is a devil summoned to the human realm from Hell. Hanazono Yurine is the one who called her and is a somewhat-blackhearted college student living in a rundown apartment in Jinbocho. Even though Hanazono successfully summoned Jashin-chan, she has no idea how to send her back. Which forces the two to live together, but Jashin-chan knows that a summoned devil can return to Hell if the summoner dies. Only available in Japanese.
July 6
- Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation. In the magical academy city of Ashram, everyone is required to live in dorms. A close-knit group of girls, “Pentagrams,” pursue their studies, including training in manners and magic, to become “true ladies.” Arsnotoria lives in Dorm 5 with her friends Mel, the party’s life, Petit Albert, the quiet one who does things at her own pace; Picatrix, who wants to be class president; and Abramelin, the cool one. When they’re not in class or studying, the girls have tea parties in “that room.” English is the only available dub.
- Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. Michio Kage was an ordinary high school student struggling with life and society until he found an odd website. The website has questions and a point-based system that lets one create skills and abilities for characters. Once Kaga finished his character, he was transported into a game-like fantasy world and reborn as a strong man who gets idol-level girls. Only available in Japanese.
- The Prince of Tennis 2: U-17 World Cup. Ryoma Echizen is despondent when he’s kicked out of Japan’s elite U-17 training camp for breaking the rules. But he bounces back when he discovers he can try out for the U.S. team. Can Ryoma prove himself against the U.S. veterans, and does he have the heart to go up against his friends on the Japanese team? English is the only available dub.
- My Stepmom’s Daughter is My Ex. Boy and girl date in middle school and break up when they graduate. Most stories would end there, but they meet again in high school. - SHADOWS HOUSE 2nd Season. The mansion has more secrets to uncover. Now that their debut is finished, Kate, Emilico, and three other pairs are ready to begin life as adults.
